Contemporary dance performance for objects and bodies

Poetic exploration of dance itself.
Parquet Ball by choreographer Mateja Bučar, transforms the very idea of dance into its subject—a dance about dance, movement, and space. Inspired by the elegance of ballroom culture and the modernist spirit of the 1920s, the performance pays homage to Bauhaus and early avant-garde aesthetics while revolving around a single self-referential object—the parquet ball—embodying the essence of choreography, materiality, and the universal language of the body.
