Illusionary Truths and Real Fictions

Don’t Force Me to Say What I Think explores the spectacle of contemporary life—the dominance of images, the illusion of freedom, and the fragile line between fact and fiction. It reflects on perception, the materiality of thought, and the tension between light and darkness, body and abstraction. In a culture addicted to visibility, the spectacle multiplies faster than the ability to process it—turning facts into interpretations and individuals into stereotypes. The performance searches for moments of resistance, where silence and shadow reclaim meaning beyond the blinding light of constant display. Developed from selected performative events of the 30 Movements cycle, the work underwent a PR transformation in February 2024, evolving into the performance Don’t Fck Me.
